About the event
Haydn Nelson Mass (Missa in angustiis): Composed during a time of international crisis and named after the legendary Admiral Nelson, this "Mass in Times of Distress" is one of Haydn’s most dramatic and powerful works. From the stormy D minor Kyrie to the jubilant Dona Nobis Pacem, it offers a visceral blend of devotion and triumph.
JS Bach Passiontide Music: A sequence of movements from Bach's Leipzig cantatas, with new English words telling the story of Holy Week. This sublime music expresses universal human emotions of sorrow, compassion, and joy.
